Job Details:

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to deliver technical and analytical results to support the Distribution technology road-map and operational projects across both transportation and warehousing. Current objectives are focused on the growth of analytics capabilities in support of business objectives. This position is responsible for performing reporting and analysis of Distribution systems to support projects, processes, users, and stakeholders of Distribution information. This will include Distribution reporting services and tools, detailed statistical analysis to identify actionable insights, and supporting analytical models. Further responsibilities include developing and documenting requirements, implementing reporting strategies, and delivering results using advanced tools such as PowerBI, AtScale, and other analytics platforms.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

+ Transportation or Supply Chain experience

+ A background in Statistics (regression analysis, correlation, getting to a reasonable degree of certainty)

+ Project work (Agile, Waterfall methodologies)

+ Process Mapping (Data Flow, Entity Relationship, &/or Context Diagrams)

+ Analytics/technical experience – coding (R, SQL, Python), database design (Oracle, Access), &/or visualization (Tableau, PowerBI)

+ Advanced computer skills with thorough practical experience using the Microsoft Office Suite software and other typical business applications, ability to prepare standard spreadsheets and presentations.

REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Experience: 2 plus years of relevant experience preferred.Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills including Access and Excel; experience with SAP data mining and visualization tools including BOBJ WEBI and AFE PowerBI Tableau are a plus.Communication Skills: This position will interact with and is expected to communicate across a range of users stakeholders and management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Special Skills: Analytical ability and results-oriented; consistently delivers high-quality timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers; passion for learning; experience with heavy duty truck or trailer systems technology onboard software and or SAP not required but highly valued; and team player.Travel: Up to 5 trips per year.
