Position Summary:

Coordinates the development of supply chain strategies with customers to achieve and maintain preferred supplier status. Leads root cause analysis including problem definition, investigation, and developing correction and prevention processes. Researches business processes and serves as the liaison between supply chain functions, sales and our customer. The incumbent will focus on driving efficient supply chain practices between the trading partners to reduce cost-to-serve and provide better value to the customer and end user of our consumer product.


Position Responsibilities:

Work with leadership and Customer Management teams to provide supply chain support to assigned customer to maintain a competitive advantage.

Engage assigned customers to identify their supply chain strategies, align THS strategies, and implement tactics supporting the supply chain objectives for top line growth and cost-to-serve.

Understand THS and Customer Business teams supply chain initiatives and be the liaison between the customer and THS to drive the appropriate programs back into the customer.

Lead process development initiatives with internal and external teams to reduce total supply chain costs.

Lead the development of value-added logistics services and improvement strategies that enable improved customer service.

Act as internal and external consultant on key customer supply chain opportunities.

Develop and lead supply chain initiatives that impact and influence customer decisions.

Communicate directional expectations to supply chain analysts supporting the customer.

Qualifications and Requirements:

4-year college degree required, and a minimum of 5 years related business experience - Supply Chain Management and/or Engineering preferred.

Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate with higher level management is critical in this role.

Solid understanding of forecasting, replenishment, and supply chain policies and practices.

Proven project management skills: conceptualizing, planning, estimating and executing.

Executive level communication and business case presentation skills.

Strong analytical and data analysis skills demonstrated; experience developing data-driven analytical models of various operations.

Continuous Improvement experience

Proven track record of delivering high quality results in a timely manner.

Excellent people skills and ability to build strong relationships.

Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis /mining software.


Bachelor's Degree Required - Type: Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred


Preferred Attributes

Experience in Walmart/Sam's Supply Chain and Replenishment Process & Systems

Experience with SAP, Business Intelligence, Retail Link and GRS
