As a Field Experience (FieldX) Specialist you will be the face of the franchise; representing our brand in its entirety to our consumers and retail partners.
You will have profound knowledge and exude true passion for our brand, our athletes, and the products which fuel our brand.
The Field Experience (FieldX) team is a part of our larger Americas Marketing team; focused on extending our reach and influence in wholesale, gathering consumer insights from the field, and growing our Grass Roots partnerships.
You are an extension of many of our internal partners: focusing on enhanced brand and product training, collecting consumer insights and identifying consumer patterns, and activating your community through a multitude of events. The Pittsburgh role will have a heightened focus and priority on servicing Dick’s Sporting Goods as well as our internal DTC locations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ DTC, Wholesale, and Specialty retailer visits within a defined market to elevate brand affinity for sales associates, managers, owners, and consumers alike
+ Activate on the experiential marketing plans to launch new products or align with current high priority products, including leading tech clinics, trying on events with consumers, meetings with community marketing managers, and executing grassroots marketing activations
+ Leverage available resources and partners to ensure expertise in product knowledge and Under Armour Brand
+ Build credibility in the local active community and with assigned retailers to drive strength of partnership and consideration
+ Manage a micro-influencer seeding budget to help create buzz regarding new product launches and increase brand loyalty
+ Gather consumer feedback to fully understand the retail environment and deliver feedback to North American Marketing to improve future marketing plans and unlock future product enhancements
+ Research market trends, the retail landscape, and competitive products
+ Routine reporting on market trends, product feedback, insights, and consumer feedback: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual
+ Complete activation recaps with performance statistics and opportunities for future growth
+ Deliver within the allocated budget
+ Develop and implement new routines and best practices for achieving annual goals
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
+ Highly motivated, passionate, and organized
+ Ability to work independently, prioritize a demanding schedule, and manage time
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
+ Demonstrated involvement and passion in sports and fitness activities
+ Ability to develop relationships, attain influence quickly, and maintain it
+ Professional appearance and demeanor
+ Ability to solve problems and make decisions based on factual information and logical assumptions
+ Achievement orientated and ability to maintain high performance during times of interruption, change, and/or pressure
+ Work as a Team Player with local and remote teammates
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
+ Ability to travel extensively in the local area, approximately 60-75% of the time
+ Work weekends and to a retail schedule when necessary
+ A minimum of 1-year of previous experience in a field services organization or event marketing firm is preferred
