Join us to be a part of a transformational Engineering Operations Team in Merchant Loyalty

As part of the Engineering Operations Team, you will…

? Be leading and supporting strategic operational improvement processes across software engineering. As a part of the Engineering Operations team in a global engineering organization, our team is responsible for transformation and improvement toward operational excellence. We support success and cultivate an agile mindset in all team members where problems are embraced as welcome opportunities to inspect, adapt and grow.

? Develop key relationships across the Organization, in and outside of Engineering to take a “Program mind-set” to strategically AND tactically enable the best practices and processes with these key relationships.

? Help in identifying and diagnosing process challenges, rollout and support new process improvements that positively impact effectiveness across the company, and will be a point person to address team member questions on new processes as needed.

As a Change/Release Coordinator, you will spend approximately 50% of your time to…

? Coordinate major software feature releases as ongoing delivery of value where multiple teams and solution groups are involved in development.

? Be responsible for planning and coordination of activities involved in the release of a new versions or incremental updates of the software platform into staging and production environments

? Facilitate the coordinated preparation of releases, with internal participants and stakeholders

? Resolve/report issues and help manage dependencies and risks

As a Technology Project Manager, you will spend approximately 50% of your time to…

? Be an agile project manager and oversee multiple cross-functional projects that deliver significant impact

? Organize and orchestrate the successful completion of technology projects or programs to deliver engineering work or operational improvements within the engineering team or across the portfolio, while maintaining focus towards the business value of the completed increments

? Manage and own the upkeep and accuracy of the project status, milestone achievement, roadmap and outlook, as well as manage expectations and communication around the timeline to stakeholders inclusive of engineering leadership, product and delivery team members, and others

? Utilize a measurement framework and create and deliver accurate reports that show achievement of targeted objectives and outcomes

? Monitor, escalate and assist in clearing project impediments, working with the product and engineering leaders and team members on solutions or escalation paths

All about you

? Experience within project management successfully delivering 1-2 simultaneous projects across more than one team, preferably on technical/software projects or programs

? Experience working in software development on SaaS based solutions, with an understanding of the SDLC within a sprint-based agile methodology

? Can communicate effectively to multiple levels of stakeholders including peers, technical team members, technical leaders and executives

? Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills

? Demonstrated experience breaking down problems to solvable parts, organizing work, supporting planning, and helping to identify risks and mitigation strategies

? Client success mindset and outcome-oriented

? Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy toward shared goals

? Engage with constant curiosity and desire to learn new things

? Demonstrated experience building positive relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while earning the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization

? Direct experience using and interpreting data for decision-making and applying continuous improvement ideas

? Strong pluses:

? Experience in change management methods within a technical environment

? Experience working in an agile methodology, preferably within the scrum framework

? Experience with Atlassian Jira usage and administration is a strong plus

? BS in engineering, computer science or related discipline
