Bank experience preferred.Under general supervision and direction of the Marketing manager, the Marketing Assistant is accountable for providing assistance to the department in all aspects of merchandizing, promotions, advertising bank services, events, and reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Using materials developed by Bank Central Advertising, organize advertisements, brochures, flyers, signage and merchandizing lobbies for various branches. 2. Organize and distribute promotional materials for various new programs or events. 3. Provide assistance with various CRA projects, such as setting up display booths, letters to the community, flyers, etc. 4. Coordinate approval process for Press Releases and assigned marketing communications. 5. May provide assistance with the coordination of Lunch and Learns, Sales and Service Rallies, and other events designed to educate, acknowledge, and reward associates. 6. Oversee specialty item transactions for the bank. 7. Review and deliver budget reports for Marketing Manager. 8. Coordinate invoices and process OTE transactions to allocate expenses as needed. 9. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
