Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas (UA Cossatot) began in DeQueen, Arkansas in 1975 as an Arkansas Vocational-Technical School, designed to provide relevant workforce training for four counties in southwest Arkansas. Department's Website:https://www.cccua.edu/jobsSummary of Job Duties:This person will be serving as the administrator of most of the grant initiatives at UA Cossatot. They will be expected to be involved during the entire Grant Lifecycle. This includes assisting in the writing, submitting, implementing, and accounting of most of the grants that UA Cossatot obtains. The person will also serve as Controller in the Business Office and assist with any Accounting related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. The Grants Administrator/Controller will serve as the liaison and organizer for most grants and will report directly to the Vice Chancellor of Finance.

 

*Assist administration and/or staff with developing, drafting, and editing of grant proposals for submission.

*Submit completed proposals and maintain shared Dropbox folder with all documents.

*Meet regularly with grant coordinators, post-award.

*Ensure grant compliance with state and federal guidelines.

*Oversee budgets for various grants to ensure funds are being spent as per their statements of work.

*Assist grant coordinators with required reporting.

*Assist Vice Chancellor for Finance with financial reporting, year end adjusting entries and other reporting as needed

*Assist in the preparation of grant and program financial audits as needed

*Develop reports for Chancellor's Cabinet and Board of Visitors.Qualifications:

Master's Degree

Higher Ed Experience of 5 years or more
