Department's Website:https://graduate-and-international.uark.edu/Summary of Job Duties:The Project/Program Specialist serves as the senior reporting and data analyst for the Graduate School and International Education. This position is responsible for fulfilling all report requests; developing access to data sources; analysis and interpretation of institutional data from all needed sources; developing a methodology for tracking the level of user access to data; developing and tracking the data for continuous improvement efforts; developing processes for tracking data quality for the school; and developing and maintaining a self-service data reporting portal for the school and campus.

 

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree

 

Experience with statistical methodologies

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Advanced SAS language development skills

 

Experience with developing SAS or SPSS reports from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville campus student records system (UAConnect), and the campus accounting and HR system (BASIS), and other campus applications

 

Experience in advanced statistical methodologies

 

Experience assisting people in choosing the best statistical methodologies

 

Having an understanding of higher education data needs

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
