We’re currently searching for a Premium Billing Specialist I, II or III to join our dynamic Membership & Billing team at USAble Life in Little Rock, Arkansas.

A Premium Billing Specialist I will:
•Reconcile and process premium billings and balances daily reports.
•Prepares system-generated individual premium billings for mailing.
•Maintain and research premium suspense as well as premium refunds and correspondence.
•Prepare necessary correspondence for conservation of individual products.

Premium Billing Specialist I Essentials Duties:
•Analyze, process and accurately reconcile and post group payments in a timely manner.
•Analyze and research suspense on the groups to ensure premiums are posted correctly.
•Complete Payment Audits for groups in MS Excel.
•Achieve acceptable quality and productivity benchmarks by multi-tasking in high volume environment on a daily basis.
•Have excellent written communication skills, strong product knowledge and procedure expertise.
•Work collaboratively with internal customers to meet established departmental service level goals.
•May perform other duties as assigned based on department needs.

A Premium Billing Specialist II will:
•Provide prompt resolution to internal and external customers/clients/group administrators for any escalated issues related to billing with clear, concise written communication skills.
•Possess ability to identify, communicate, and recommend process/procedure improvements that will enhance M&B to provide excellent service and quality.
•Partner with all departments within the organization to meet customer, departmental, and company objectives.

Premium Billing Specialist II Essentials Duties:
•Provide cooperative, courteous, responsive service and information to internal and external clients for escalated items, creating positive working relationships.
•Maintain a variety of assignments effectively and demonstrate the ability to adjust for changing priorities.
•Process remittances promptly, accurately and independently, consistently meeting or exceeding strict quality and timing standards.
•May perform other duties as assigned based on department needs

A Premium Billing Specialist III will:
•Possess mastery level skills in complex reconciliations and processing of premium.
•Communicate key information and provide resolutions to inquiries received from plan participants, group administrators and other business partners in clear and concise manner.
•This position will be considered an essential employee for inclement weather purposes.
•Be responsible for mentoring junior specialist and providing training and guidance to new team members.

Premium Billing Specialist III Essentials Duties:
•Educate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications and/or proper documentation remitted to lockbox.
•Research and resolve client issues working in collaboration with Customer Service to execute prompt resolution.
•Reconcile and process premiums for the largest, most complex, prestigious clients, independently and with a high degree of accuracy.
•Actively serve as a mentor to junior specialist and seek training opportunities to meet established departmental service level goals.
•May perform other duties as assigned based on department needs.

Required Experience

Premium Billing Specialist I
Basic Required:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•1 to 3 years general accounting, payroll, or accounts payable experience; Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for experience requirements
•Or, equivalent military experience

Preferred:
•LOMA 280 & 290; FLMI
•Some college course work

Premium Billing Specialist II
Basic Required:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•2 – 4 years general accounting, payroll, accounts payable or insurance experience. Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for experience requirements
•Or, equivalent military experience

Preferred:
•FLMI 1 & 2; LOMA 1 & 2
•Some college course work

Premium Billing Specialist III
Basic Required:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•4-6 years general accounting, payroll, or accounts payable experience; Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus relevant experience can be considered for experience requirements
•Or, equivalent military experience

Preferred:
•FLMI 1 & 2, LOMA 1 & 2
•Some college course work
