Job Details:

Schedule : Monday through Friday, including holidays. Hours : 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. Start and end times may vary. Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.

+ Candidates must reside within the current recruitment area to include the following counties: In Arkansas – Benton County; In Oklahoma – Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware or Mayes County.

+ Candidates with agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.

+ Internal applicants must have completed their probationary period and have no disciplinary actions within the last 6 months. A point level of = 6 attendance points and 6 months in the current area is preferred. If no internal applicants meet these requirements then probationary and temporary team members will be considered. Must wear company provided facial covering.

Position Summary:

+ This position is responsible for delivering correct feed in a timely manner, sampling feed and maintaining adequate supplies of feed and propane. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilties

+ Ordering bulk feed from the feed mill, inspecting feed for quality and submiting feed samples to lab. Monitoring lab results by accessing QAS database for delivery rediness (10%)

+ Delivering correct and appropriate amounts of feed to designated bins on farm. (50%)

+ Ordering bulk propane and maintaining adequate supply for farm distribution. Loading propane onto farm truck and maintaining adequate supply in all farm tanks. (25%)

+ Picking up unused feed with reclaim equipment, using the computer to maintains inventory records, and calculate usage amounts. Washing truck after use. Working with other crews during summer months when propane usage is lower. Duties may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. (15%)

Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:

+ The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

+ Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Drive Feed and Propane Truck. Will be required to climb a ladder, pull/push 50 pounds and lift up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.

+ Tools and Equipment:

+ Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Must ascend and desend from a height of approximately 30’ while follow all safety requirements.

+ Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety goggles, safety glasses, face shield, chemical gloves, insulated cryogenc gloves, waterproof apron, and company issued footwear are required. Ear plugs will be used as needed. NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators will be worn as needed.

+ Chemicals Commonly Used: Formaldehyde, Bleach, hand sanitizer, Synergize,Viorcid, Lysol, Clorox wipes and lubricants.

+ Safety: Team member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment. Team member is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety related risks.
