The Main Responsibilities
As an Ops Readiness Analyst intern in our North American Operations organization, you will work collaboratively with our Service Delivery team to develop talent within Lumen to identify training and communication needs. Tasks during the 10 weeks will include working in the areas of operational readiness to identify, analyze, and prepare content to be fed into corporate training or communication deliverables. You will need a high level of engagement and ability to take initiative, ask questions, learn quickly, and work in a team environment. You will the opportunity to analyze and present on data researched.
• Interns might also have the opportunity to build or provide input into overall Service Delivery Marketing plan and/or delve into data and / or programs to help extract meaningful information that should be communicated to employees, leaders, analysts, or customers in coordination with our corporate partners
• They may also have an opportunity to do similar analysis and content gathering in order to turn content into presentations and/or training materials for employees or leaders
• Work alongside talent development to analyze and identify training and communication needs with Lumen
• Develop intern communications
• Partner with program managers and leaders to identify needs for talent development
What We Look For in a Candidate
• Education Requirements
o Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university- rising senior status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2022 – May 2023.
o Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in marketing, communications, business analysis, instructional design, computer science, or a related field.
• Proficiency and understanding of:
o Microsoft Suites specifically excel and powerpoint
o Social media experience
o Experience with producing blogs and newsletters
o Sway and Yammer experience is a plus
o AI and Machine Learning is a plus
• Professional Attributes
o Strong drive for results/solutions and taking initiative to resolve problems
o Ability to be resourceful and adaptable- independently and in a team environment

o Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions

• Work Setting
o Ideally the position will be in one of the following offices: Broomfield, CO or Remote/Work from home
o Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August)
o Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations)
o US work authorization
