Position Summary:

Faculty members deliver instruction, conduct research, perform service for their respective professions and community, and participate in the management of the University through shared governance. Each member of the faculty has the duty to deliver instruction and maintain a learning environment consistent with the highest standards of the profession. The faculty has a responsibility to set degree requirements, assess when they are met, and establish and maintain curricula that meet professional standards and fulfill the educational goals of the University.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Has prior Clinical Coordinator / Field Placement experience
  • Facilitates Practicum / Internship Info Sessions every semester (Fall / Spring Summer) in order to ensure students are mindful of requirements / expectations / deadlines
  • Displays a detail oriented / meticulous work ethic
  • Reviews coursework with Academic Advisor to ensure that all pre-requisite courses are completed prior to being given a registration permit
  • Ensures students have uploaded and submitted necessary documentation to Blackboard
  • Gathers data to assess for students' professional growth and development
  • Other duties as assigned

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Twelve (12) credit hours of teaching will be required including 6 hours fall; 3 hours spring; 3 hours summer.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Doctorate or Equivalent Terminal Degree appropriate for the discipline and professional experience appropriate to the discipline is required. ABD will be considered
