EY’s contractor recruitment team, GigNow is responsible to source, match and engage contractors for all service lines and Core Business Services. As an EY GigNow Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for engaging qualified candidates to fill contractor positions across both client serving and internally facing roles. You’ll team with an GigNow Talent Acquisition Recruiter to assess the profiles of candidates and manage the contractor candidates through the interview process, negotiating contract offers, closing and onboarding contractors in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Although you’ll receive general supervision, you’ll be expected to work independently on a daily basis, seeking help on moderate to complex issues from Recruiting Leadership as needed.
+ Serve as a recruiter aligned to certain client serving service lines and/or Core Business Services.
+ Collaborate with recruiting peers and work together in a two-recruiter model, experienced recruiter working with talent acquisition recruiter, acting as the main recruiting contacts for key client groups and candidates. Develop sound business relationships with internal clients to achieve stated goals
+ Develop and maintain relationships and provide regular updates to hiring managers and other stakeholders as may be appropriate on pipeline development and progress of candidates
+ Manage candidates through the entire interview and engaging process from assessing candidate qualifications for current open positions, to negotiating contractor offer terms and including initiation of onboarding for new contractors
+ Work quickly and efficiently with fellow recruiters to develop alternative sourcing strategies to ensure talent pool is presented timely to internal clients
+ Responsible for scanning the marketplace for trends and obtaining information on competitive positioning. May make recommendations regarding how this information could affect hiring plans and/or sourcing strategies
+ Responsible for mastering the use of recruiting tools, internal technologies, and contractor engagement processes to remain at the forefront of talent acquisition
Knowledge and skills requirements:
+ Some knowledge of recruitment, hiring and HR practices
+ Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of the firm’s contractor recruitment policies, processes and protocols including negotiation and offer closing process
+ Ability to articulate and market EY contractor opportunities to candidates
+ Ability to quickly adapt to, embrace and champion new technology and agile tools. Act as a change agent as new technology, tools and processes are rolled out, including video interviews
+ Ability to work effectively in a detail oriented, complex and fast-paced, high volume, complex environment, regularly prioritizing work, and assuming new work with a strong sense of urgency
+ Ability to utilize strategic thinking skills and emotional intelligence to collaborate with fellow team members on best practices
+ Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with clients
+ An avid learner
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for candidate tracking and reporting
+ A minimum of 5+ years of experienced hire recruiting experience, preferably from a contract recruitment environment
+ Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience
