Position Summary


The Process Efficiency/Reliability leader position will assist in plant operations by contributing towards the development and execution of programs to improve manufacturing efficiencies at all levels of the organization.


This will include the responsibility to identify, analyze and execute various initiatives to improve efficiencies, reduce cost, improve quality, improve safety, and increase customer satisfaction.


This position will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of the PR Operational Excellence Program at the local site.


The development of key internal and external customer relationships is an integral function of this position.


Key Responsibilities

Excellence in Operations ("XO") facilitator and coach - identify opportunities, provide tools and framework for each initiative, schedule training, facilitate workshops, develop improvement roadmaps, link activities to operational KPIs, and lead XO assessments (self and with Pernod team). Follow up and support XO initiatives and programs by mentoring and coaching production leads, supervisors, and managers throughout each step of each XO agenda's journey. Build sustainability programs for each.

Operational Performance Improvements - provide insight through analytics and drive operational improvements. Lead and support regular meetings with the teams to drive efficiency and OEE improvements and increased levels of engagement. Be a catalyst to lead manufacturing performance improvement and process control by effectively implementing and measuring process changes and work procedures via Lean Manufacturing Techniques. Collaborate with operational partners to deliver against KPI objectives.

Problem Solving - Provide thought leadership, subject matter expertise and additional support in developing practical solutions to complex analytical problems. Facilitate problem solving workshops with cross functional teams to address operational performance issues (efficiency, quality, costs) as needed across the site using six sigma philosophies and techniques.

Documentation - maintain, revise as needed, and standardize ways of working and operational SOPs based on best practices, different site inputs, and global standards.

Team Player - work directly with the different departments (plant floor and management) to execute improvements and deploy best practices and standards.


Required Skills & Abilities


Professional experience

Within the packaging industry and/or a food/beverage manufacturing environment

Quality experience - within a manufacturing environment and knowledge of appropriate process improvement techniques (i.e. zero defects, supplier certification, Lean, Six Sigma, etc)


Job Specific skills

Required:Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
