What You Will Do In Your Role.

Ownership of the facilities Reliability Vision, and proactively implementing the GP Reliability Mental Model.

 

Develop the 5-year Reliability Plan including strategic goals and capability development planning.

 

Drive safety and compliance excellence through enhanced equipment reliability and personally modeling safe behavior.

 

Implementing and improving on reliability concepts including development of Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance technologies, Preventive Maintenance development and equipment operating envelopes in order to achieve high levels of availability of mill assets.

 

Directing the mill's efforts in lubrication excellence, vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and other condition monitoring and/or Transformative technologies.

 

Working closely with both operations and maintenance in the development of long-term equipment maintenance strategies and operator based care (OBC) as well as support troubleshooting efforts through formal Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

 

Provide oversight to Planning Department. Ensure OSB Asset Maintenance Work Flow Process is followed and job plans are developed for key work based on priority.

 

Recruiting and developing new reliability talent.

 

Monitoring the performance of various assets and processes through KPI trending and analysis.

The Experience You Will BringRequirements:

Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

 

Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance and/or reliability in an industrial manufacturing environment

 

Working knowledge of Condition Monitoring Technologies and Asset Management best practices

 

Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and preventative maintenance systems, such as CAT II vibration analysis

 

Demonstrated computer proficiency and ability to type 50 wpm

 

Working knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and associated software (MP2 CMMS, DMSI Maintelligence)

Possess planning, scheduling, critical thinking and organizational skills What Will Put You Ahead

Supervisory/Leadership Experience highly desired

 

CMRP and/or CMRT certification

 

MLT 1 certification,

 

Ultrasound 1 certification

 

Thermography Level 1 Certification

 

Experience with MS Word, MS Project, Excel, Outlook and Power Point and willing and able to learn new technologies

 

Experience in preventive maintenance optimization (PMO) and procedure writing

 

Experience in the design for reliability (DFR) process

 

Experience in wood products industry is preferred

 

Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Demonstrated ability in analytical troubleshooting and problem solving related to industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmissions and PLC
