Desktop Support Technician – First Shift (M-F; 7:30am to 4:00pm)

Candidate must provide a cell phone for receiving calls from Supervisor regarding high priority tickets.

A TEKsystems client in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist in the support of PC’s, Printer’s and RF devices used by end users in their Olive Branch location.

Support can consist of day to day trouble calls or user requests, supporting on-going projects related to these types of devices and routine device maintenance / upkeep. The potential candidate must be reasonably adept in troubleshooting problems with some or all of these types of devices, communicating and follow-up with end users of various levels within the organization, along with providing excellent customer service.

This resource will be supporting roughly 300 end users with approximately 25 tickets per shift, per person.

Technical environment:

-Microsoft Office (Windows 7/10)

-Laser Jet Printers

-Supporting Zebra Label Printers

-AS 400 (experience with Client Access preferred)

-RF (Radio Frequency) Devices (this candidate needs experience with Wireless Network Connectivity)

-Candidate will be troubleshooting the following: Outlook / Microsoft Office / Word / Excel

-ServiceNow Ticketing System
