To date, we have grown from a handful of school districts in Arkansas to thousands of school districts across the U.S. Apptegy’s People Team continues to grow and we are looking for a highly organized, persistent, and driven individual that can help us continue scaling our engineering organization. As a Technical Recruiter… You will focus your efforts on creating intrigue and starting conversations with experienced engineers. As part of the People Team you will represent our culture and look for thoughtful, high-performers that can join us. You will also work closely with our CTO, VP of Engineering, and other engineers. Responsibilities

+ Identify and engage passive talent to help build the engineering team

+ Build a high quality pipeline of potential candidates for a variety of engineering roles

+ Assist with evaluation and implementation of new sourcing tools and procedures

+ Lead first interviews and join in technical screenings as needed

+ Be helpful to engineers and leaders involved in the interview process

+ Write detailed notes and craft a great experience for every candidate and new hire

+ Engage and get to know the whole person -not just their technical skills

+ Ensure data quality (notes, candidate information) is kept and captured in our applicant tracking system and other recruitment databases.

About you:

+ You have 2+ years of technical recruiting experience (ideally with heavy sourcing expectations and a focus on quality)

+ You are results driven and people focused. You focus on achieving outcomes and results to help grow teams successfully.

+ You are thoughtful, attentive and responsive and take the time to give the best experience to candidates, engineer interviewers, and hiring manager needs.

+ You enjoy sourcing for a variety of searches and coming up with approaches to successfully identify talent.

+ You are persistent and are motivated by challenges; you partner with Leadership and to help them refine job specs and target profiles.

+ You are dependable. You hold yourself accountable for achieving goals.
