Job Highlights

 

Partnering with Engineering and Operations Departments to ensure the reliability, technical compliance and maintainability of new and modified installations. The Reliability Engineer is responsible for adhering to the local Life Cycle Asset Management process throughout the entire life cycle of new assets working thru direction of Reliability Manager.

Participating in the final check of new installations.

Guiding efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.

Providing input to a Risk Management Plan that will anticipate reliability-related, andnon-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation along with compliance to Jurisdictional mandates.

Assist in developing engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

Requirements

 

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 3 years of chemical plant reliability experience.

Ability to troubleshoot and investigate equipment failures that affect plant reliability.

Working with Production to perform analyses of assets including:

Asset Utilization

Overall Equipment Effectiveness

Remaining useful life

Other parameters that define operating condition, reliability and costs of assets
