Position Summary

The Sr. Lead, Amazon Marketing – Americas is responsible for leading strategy development and activation of digital marketing tactics and marketing campaign delivery to drive revenue, customer acquisition and loyalty on Amazon and Zappos. The teammate in this role will craft Amazon/Zappos specific go-to-market strategies, positioning and activation plans in partnership with the regional sales and category marketing teams. The individual will also influence the Mexico Amazon plan. It is essential that the individual in this role focus on driving retail sales and Brand consideration and affinity by delivering consumer-focused marketing activations, tailored to Amazon/Zappos. This individual will need to have a strong retail digital marketing background to be successful. This leader will ensure Under Armour products are powerfully positioned with Amazon, to connect with customers and drive sales.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

-Lead co-branded strategy development, planning and execution of targeted marketing activations with Amazon/Zappos that connect to the regional long range plan, category & Global strategy and drive Americas sales and brand health.

-Deliver a plan that takes our relationship with Amazon to the next level, focused on acquisition of Focused Performers on the platform, more aggressive retention efforts, capitalizing on active related bespoke Amazon initiatives that contribute to these goals.

-Deliver an Amazon/Zappos integrated marketing plan in season and contribute to long range planning. This requires partnership with Marketing leadership at Amazon/Zappos to drive shared priorities, investments and performance.

-Independently collaborate with regional cross functional partners (category marketers, merchandising, sales, etc.) to align on account positioning and storytelling for Amazon/Zappos within the Americas. Focus on Brand building and revenue through Tier 1 and foundational commercial stories. Deliver strategies that are complementary to our DTC plans.

-Collaborate on strategies for paid search campaigns to drive conversion goals on Amazon/Zappos. (Agency led with strategic input from Amazon/Zappos marketing lead.)

-Directly lead digital media strategies executed through Amazon display and retargeting.

-Be an expert on Amazon software platforms.

-Produce meaningful post-campaign analyses reporting on incremental sales, conversion and loyalty that informs future actions. Deliver on ROAS and acquisition goals.

-Ensure briefs and feedback provided to regional marketing teammates (category, ops) aid in the development of campaign elements that can be successfully leveraged by Amazon/Zappos.

-Drive and deliver on go-to-market timelines for Amazon/Zappos campaigns including creative assets and activation elements.

-Propose budgets for Amazon/Zappos account activation to marketing leadership for consideration in overall regional investment approach

-Partner with and support marketing leadership in delivering KPIs and strategies for the Amazon/Zappos account

-Participate in regular operating routines with all regional marketing teams (Sr Dir/VP merchandising, sales, planning) strategically plan account position, segmentation, marketing activations.

-This role does not have direct reports. However, to be more effective as a team this person will consistently consider ways of working and recommend improvements as appropriate.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

This person should have experience in integrated marketing planning and execution of marketing initiatives and ideally experience working with Amazon or other digital first retailers. This person must display the ability to independently drive brand equity and revenue through an understanding of product marketing, consumer segmentation and effective briefing, and must support evaluation of results to drive improvement each season.

Education And / Or Experience

• Minimum 8 Years of experience

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
