The Main Responsibilities

As a Production Support Analyst in our Strategic Planning and Transformation organization, the Intern will work with the team that conducts Flow-Through Production support on over 200 internal software applications. They respond to trouble tickets as generated via ServiceNow and run reports to track team performance. They create automation to perform workarounds typically performed by support staff and work with the development teams on permanent code fixes.

In this role you will perform analytical duties pertaining to ServiceNow and BigPanda specifically. For ServiceNow, the Intern will write queries within the application to generate reports on the health of all the applications (configuration items) and assignment groups. In BigPanda, the Intern will analyze conditions in which BigPanda prematurely closes trouble tickets without resolving an issue and assist the team with updating their correlation patterns preventing future incidents.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Education Requirements

o Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2022 – May 2023.

o Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree field.

Work Setting

o Ideally the position will be in one of the following offices: Broomfield -CO, Littleton-CO or Monroe -LA. May consider remote/ work from home.

o Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August)

o Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations)

o US work authorization
