Description & Requirements

Jack Henry’s OnBoard Loans Development team is seeking a talented Senior Technical Business Analyst. This individual will join a team of 4 business analysts to identify areas for improvements and deliver enhancements to our loan origination product. The ideal candidate has a solid background working within lending and loan origination as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work with others or alone on projects, and a keen eye for detail. From this role, individuals can progress to higher levels.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location.

+ Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in OnBoard Loans or a comparable loan origination system that integrated with a Jack Henry core system.

+ Must have experience working with loan documents (Wolters Kluwer or Compliance Systems).

+ Must have experience writing business requirements or design specifications.

+ Must be able to travel up to 5% for trainings and team meetings.


+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.

+ Education/training or process documentation background.

+ JHA Core banking knowledge: SilverLake, CIF 2020, Core Director; credit union knowledge a plus (Episys).


+ Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.

+ Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.

+ Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.

+ Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.

+ May perform application, system, and regression tests.

+ Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.

+ Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.

+ Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.

+ Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.

+ May assist less experienced peers.
