Description An experienced Project Manager/ Sr. Consultant is needed for this position. Senior Project Managers in the Memphis, Tennessee area might be interested in joining this existing team to work onsite with our local client. Apply through with Robert Half! The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. The eventual full-time will manage key projects as part of our client’s strategic business plan. How you will make an impact

- Co-operates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

- Steers project planning

- Places schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

- Lists out and supervises the sprint planning and grooming meetings and follows ticket assignments

- Engages with Product Owner/Product Manager to double check that the product vision and high-level business objectives are transparent and obtainable

- Collude with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

- Contributes to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

- Facilitates to classify, manage, and identify risk for functional improvement requests

- Work in close partnership with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

- Aid the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

- Defines the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

- Handles the daily stand-ups, asserting they are timely, focused and brief

- Supervises deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, tech lead, and Product Owner

- Contributes as Scrum Master for the developers on the team – clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies

- Combines info from QA leads, technical leads, and business analysts into ideas

- Cooperates and communicates with developers, technical team members, designers, and stakeholders

- Verify that the functional requirements are tracked, met, and achievable

- Delivers detailed reporting to management on milestone completion, risk assessment, and project status

- Determines project with correct ticket workflows and boards

- Adheres and schedules projects – as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner Requirements – If you’re looking for job openings and have a Project Management (PMP) certification, you might be a good fit for this position

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

- Can work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

- If you can demonstrate that you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies, this position is for you - Candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools will be the best fit for this position

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

- Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

- JIRA experience desired

- Microsoft Project experience

- Agile Scrum experience required

- We are particularly looking for candidates with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

- Background in project management, operations, and supervisory leadership
