SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of this position is to advance the delivery of the Time & Attendance technology to provide accurate and timely compensation to our team members. This position is expected to provide technical and analytical leadership on projects. This position is responsible for specializing in HR policies and business procedures to ensure time calculations are accurate based on location pay practices while adhering to local, state and federal laws, union contracts and Tyson business practices. This position is responsible for collaborating with IT and Business Professionals to provide system solutions in a timely and accurate fashion. This position will lead the training efforts and assigning security access which will include maintaining up to date training materials and auditing security roles for compliance. This position will be responsible for overseeing the efforts to ensure data integrity in the Time & Attendance systems and provide data mining for legal requests in current and legacy systems and ensuring system functionality integrity through testing upgrades, break/fixes and new functionality. This position is expected to play a lead role in executing the future vision of the HR shared services delivery model. This work is inclusive of defining user requirements, establishing technical specifications, while enhancing productivity, quality, and customer service standards. They will play a significant part in driving efficiency and consistency across support function. This position will focus on ensuring the necessary KPIs and SLAs are met to enable the consistent and efficient delivery of our shared services model to all functions of Tyson Foods. Further responsibilities will include maintaining professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends and delivering results to the customer.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 5+ years relevant experience or equivalent

Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills required. Must be highly competent in the use of Excel and knowledgeable in Microsoft Access or other database query/reporting tools. Time & Attendance system experience required. Working knowledge of Service Now, SAP/HR, Workday and/or Kronos highly valued.

Communication Skills: This position will interact with and is expected to communicate results/recommendations, and secure buy-in across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Must have the ability to translate complex technical themes into business facing language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Special Skills: Knowledge of payroll laws, FLSA, DOL, time collection, and payroll processing are preferred. Ability to comprehend union contracts to administer company obligations while standardizing to reduce system footprints. Experience with process documentation, identifying improvement opportunities and specific measurements to track performance post implementation.

Proven ability to manage cross functional projects using the defined Tyson methodology. Understands how to escalate & drive issues to resolution, manage budget, perform resource planning and manage scope.

Exceptional technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new solutions; Superior organizational and problem solving; Demonstrated ability to build to understand issues and forecast impacts of change.

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment; Perseveres to locate necessary data and identify creative solutions to enable project completion; Experience collaborating with solutions to enable project completion; Consistently delivers high-quality, timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers; Background in Project Management; Passion for learning.
