The role:

Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Manager, HR Business Partner who will be responsible for executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

+ A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.

+ Strong project management skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results

+ Success in creating and driving effective and positive employee relations, retention and reward programs

+ The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to “roll up your sleeves”

+ Strong internal and external customer service focus

+ The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously – orientated on results

+ Oversees the recruiting and selection process, onboarding and training. Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level to mid-level, professional and technical job openings.

+ Oversees the administration of all company benefits, including health, life dental, vision and retirement plans.

+ Oversees payroll, accuracy of timecards and PTO balances.

+ Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, including OSHA, LOA administration, EEOC, and W/C.

+ Investigates and resolve employee relation issues. Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the HR Team and senior management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

The Best Candidates Will Have:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ 5+ years of experience as HR Manager or above

+ Comprehensive knowledge of PPE, IIPP and other safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

+ Demonstrated leadership skills – good at directing and motivating employees as well as identifying and fostering talented employees

+ Ability to function independently

+ Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

+ Great skills working in a collaborative group environment as well as individually

+ Experience reporting to an offsite manager

+ Knowledge of working with employment agencies (high volume)

+ Deadline driven and resourceful with ability to take direction

+ Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment

+ Previous experience working in a manufacturing, distribution center or fulfillment center environment is a plus.

+ Experience working with temp agencies.

+ PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus.
