Pay Range: $16.70 hr. - $23.52 hr.

Shift Premium: $.20 for 2nd shift & $.30 for 3rd shift

(Pay range based on a progression pay scale)

**Eligible for $1,000 Sign-on Bonus after 60 days**Your responsibilities

 

*Painting and set up motors to paint.

*Use Shop Floor Display, Special Instructions, TDRs, Manufacturing Instructions, and all diagrams related to task. Must be able to comprehend all work instructions.

*Meet specifications and produce a quality product.

*Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.

*Requires exposure to various sealants, thinners, silicones, and paints.

*Use various hand tools and spray guns.

*Setup, operate and monitor the process/machines effectiveness for meeting productivity and quality requirements.

*Identify materials used at their workstation and as required by the job, process necessary material transactions.

*Operate various lifting devices: Overhead Hoists- required.

*Proper disposal of waste.

*Communicate with other operators and supervisor to discuss any problems.

*Support other functions within the department.

*Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.

*Place safety in the workplace above all else.

*Daily housekeeping.

*Work overtime and other duties as needed.

Your background

 

*HS Diploma or equivalent required

*6 months of Industrial type experience or military service or in lieu of industrial experience will consider vocational/ technical high school and technical college courses or 3 months previous motor manufacturing experience.

*Previous motor manufacturing experience preferred.

Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States

Specialized skills or other requirements:

*Steady work history

*Reliable transportation to and from work

*Adaptable to change and ability to cross-train

*Detailed oriented

*Must be able to work any shift

Physical Demands:

*Standing for long periods of time

*Constant use of hand and arm to operate a spray gun to paint motors

*Requires repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting motions. Lifting to 25-30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

*Requires exposure to various sealants, thinners, silicones, and paints.

* Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.

*Understand and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Hearing protection is required.

*Able to work 40 hrs a week and required overtime

*Ability to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment

*Able to perform tasks in a manufacturing environment
