We are seeking energetic, forward thinking Information Security enthusiast for an entry level Information Security role to join our IT Risk Management & Security group in Branchburg. The candidate should have following qualifications, skills and experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience.
+ Knowledge of IT Security concepts and fundamentals.
+ Working knowledge in the field of software development , with strong desire to learn Application Security.
+ Understanding of various application models (client-server, desktop apps, mobile, etc.).
+ Familiarity with software development/delivery lifecycle and accompanying technologies.
+ Strong interpersonal, networking, influencing and relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate cross-culturally with wide array of stakeholders, internally and externally.
+ Personal drive and passion to not only continue growing yourself but also the Application Security best practices.
+ Experience in Information security role.
+ Understanding of OWASP Top 10 web application security risks (XSS, SQL Injection, etc.) and recommended mitigation strategies.
+ Familiarity with application security tools (SAST/DAST/OSS, Mobile and API security testing, etc.).
+ Familiarity with Agile development processes and DevSecOps best practices.
+ Serve as a technical point of contact for application teams as it relates to configuration and operation of application security testing tools and their integration into the software development process.
+ Collaborate with software developers and application teams to ensure the products are developed using secure software development methodologies.
+ Drive effective remediation, tracking and reporting of the application security issues.
+ Ensure stability and resiliency of our Application Security products and services.
+ Help to develop, collect and improve metrics to measure the success of the Application Security program.
+ Partner with other IT Risk Management & Security teams to improve the overall Cyber Security posture of the organization.
+ Identify areas where our processes can be improved, and where possible implement those improvements.
