Job Purpose/Summary:

This position will be part of a hands-on team working on-site with operations management and Team members providing incite to improve the operations management process. This will require extensive travel. The focus for this position will be configuration, testing, and teaching Team Members the functions of effective work planning with the Warehouse Management System. Assist in the implementation of JDA to the facility as well as ensuring sustainment after implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include: Configuration, testing, and implementation of WMS. Teaching and coaching best practices for receiving, picking, shipping, inventory management, and continuous process improvement utilizing WMS.

Requirements:

+ Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Experience: Warehouse Management System experience, leadership, training, and/or introducing major process change or re-engineering initiatives preferred.

+ Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required; ability to create written documentation; familiarity with JDA Warehouse Labor Management systems a plus.

+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Special Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others and drive improvements with little direction; effective time management skills; strong operational aptitude with working knowledge of all areas.

+ Supervisory: None

+ Travel: Extensive travel is required. Must be willing to remain at assigned field locations during majority of time required to implement WMS. 90% plus.
