At Simmons Bank, the Information Security Architect is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of secure solutions. You will join a team of associates dedicated to securing the corporate network and be responsible for the maintenance and operation of information security systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Simmons Bank information systems.
Lead the strategy for security infrastructure services supporting Simmons Bank technology solutions in on-premise, public, and private cloud environments
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements for any new systems/processes
Deliver architecture designs and lead implementation of security tools that support business goals and strike the proper balance between security and business risk tolerance
Determine the impact industry trends or new regulatory requirements have on current on-premise systems and Cloud systems and provide recommended actions and mitigations
Maintain knowledge with emerging technologies and advancements within Information Security
Act as a central contact for enterprise information security subject matter expertise for other technology teams in the organization
Conduct security reviews of on-premise and cloud solutions to encourage best practice and mitigate security risk
Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs
Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
Communicate security concerns to management in a timely manner
Provide security guidance for other technology and business projects to ensure their security meets Simmons Bank risk tolerance
Provide assistance to system users related to information systems security matters
Act as a resource for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff
Take initiative and responsibility for achieving desired results
High school diploma or GED and ten years' experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight years' experience
Master's degree in a related field and six years' experience
Must be able to prioritize assignments while working on multiple projects
Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills
Must be able to work independently with little supervision as well as a team member
Direct experience with managing security tools such as: anti-virus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, web content filtering, data loss prevention, vulnerability scanners, and next-generation firewalls
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), GIAC, or other industry certification
