Responsible for the efficient coordination and delivery of replacement equipment for the Lumen Network in order to assist in the reduction of Mean Time to Repair.
The Responsibilities include supervising all aspects of Order Management to include:
+ Order processing, procurement, logistics coordination/tracking and validation of proof of delivery of replacement equipment in the field.
+ Ensuring the failed equipment is obtained from the field, returned to the vendor for credit or repair and received from Vendor to replenish C-Spares Stock.
+ This position will be responsible for activities including identifying, researching and assisting internal/external customers regarding status of Critical equipment. Additional responsibilities include coordinating after hours rotating on-call, tracking, updating and reporting of status and escalations to Management, ensuring after hours support and response is available for escalations, NOC support and Field support .
+ Manage team of 8-10 direct reports.
The Main Responsibilities
+ Provide direct supervision and management of Lumen exempt and non-exempt employees, and all assigned contractors. Responsible for understanding, executing and complying with bargaining unit labor contracts as documented. Perform quarterly reviews and annual assessments for Lumen exempt employees and 3PL contractor performance surveys as required.
+ Responsible for effective and efficient coordination and guidance of day to day distribution center operations involving material activities associated with receiving, put away, picking, shipping, inventory management, clean and screen, kitting, and reverse logistics.
+ Responsible for stringent oversight and management of Distribution Center inventory and assets with on hand inventory value raging between $1.2M to $100M. Inventory throughput for the Denver DC is over $316 Million annually. Responsible for development and execution of a comprehensive audit and reconciliation program to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity across all DC managed inventories. Manage inventory shrinkage to less than .5%.
+ Develop and implement short and long term planning strategies related to DC design, setup, staffing, processes and budget. Execute implementation of immediate and/or phased action plans related to small, large, high impact and/or high value Distribution Center projects.
+ Responsible for delivering DC operating performance in line with identified SLA’s and metrics.
+ Responsible for evaluation and processing of decommissioned materials, while ensuring all company processes and procedures are followed in managing and handling of assets.
+ Lead and manage asset recovery efforts to ensure recovery of valuable scrap assets (metal, copper, and electronics) and reconcile scrap sales to proceeds received. Collaborate with accounting and asset disposition groups to consume overstock items and/or send to consignment vendors
What We Look For in a Candidate
The successful candidate should
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience typically with 5 to 7 years related experience and one plus years previous supervision/leader ship experience preferred
+ Logistics experience utilizing MRP (Material, Resources and Planning) WMS (Warehouse Management System) SAP, Applications is preferred. Must be skilled in in PC Based applications (Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio).
+ Experienced Supervisor or Team with excellent organizational, customer service, oral and written communication and teamwork skills are required.
+ Individual must be detail oriented with an analytical attitude.
+ Must be able to maintain a sense of urgency and priority setting, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where priorities are of critical nature.
