Position Summary

TheDistrictManagerdirects all

operations of a given district including distribution, customer service, and

administration of sales in accordance with company strategic initiatives.

TheDistrictManager also provides training, coaching, development

and motivation of their team.

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

Execute

 Human Resource Management plan to balance capacity with demand and achieve

 annual operating plans expected GM$ per location.

Achieve

 and maintaindistrict profitabilityaccording tofinancial

 plans.

Maintain

 qualified and quantified supplier relationships.

Oversee

 the management of financial assetsthrough inventory management,

 accounts receivable management, and accounts payable management.

Manage

 and developbranch managerteam.

 

Additional Responsibilities

Actively

 participate in and contribute to Mayer's Continuous Quality Improvement

 efforts.

Complete

 assigned training in a timely manner.

May

 participate in or assist with physical inventory preparation or

 process.

Demonstrate

 commitment to Mayer's core values and vision to be First Choice with our

 suppliers, customers, and associates.

Complete

 all other appropriate tasks or duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Highschooldiplomaor

 GED

Threeyearsof

 experienceintheelectrical distribution industry

Managementexperience

 

DesiredQualifications:

Bachelor's

 degree in business administration or a related field.

Fiveyears

 of experienceas a manager in theelectrical distribution

 industry.

OtherWork Environment:

 

TheBranchManager's

 job duties are accomplished in avariety of settings, including

 offices, retail areas,and warehouses.

May

 occasionally drive a vehicle to meet with customersor to attend

 meetings.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged

 periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must

 be able tophysicallyaccess all areas of the

 branch.

Must

 be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Travel Requirements:

Overnight

 travel may be requiredon occasionto attend trainingor

 meetings.
