Manages all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, material handling and storage of raw materials, finished goods and packaging supplies.
Directly responsible for outbound shipments for Little Rock, while optimizing personnel and department functions.
Supervise 2 warehouse clerks- Instruct employees on the safe and proper care of materials received, stored and shipped, as well as preparing performance evaluations.
Establish personnel schedules to cover warehouse functions and tracks vacation time/personal holiday hours, to ensure accurate payroll for hourly employees. Monitors overtime and formulates recommendations to decrease and/or eliminate
Responsible for Physical Inventory Management, including physical counts and adjustments. Research variances and determine system corrections and improvements
Degree in logistics, business, or supply chain management preferred
3-5 years of warehouse experience, including knowledge of shipping documentation and regulation requirements.
Previoussupervisor experience a plus
SAP experience preferred
Must be self motivated with the ability to work independently.
Must have the ability to collaborate cross-departmentally.
Must be able to operate warehouse equipment.
