POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring product and process quality inside of the factory. The successful candidate will perform process audits, highlighting process and product gaps. The position also requires the ability to operate multiple pieces of measurement equipment for measurement purposes to confirm factory performance. The objective is to monitor critical quality measures that impact product performance and immediately catch and escalate issues. Awareness of material interactions, asking key questions and ability to find resources for specific measurements that may be needed to evaluate the results are critical for this position. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Follow safety first values and apply safety criteria in all areas of the factory.

+ Perform process audits daily with the ability to communicate results to multiple audiences.

+ Able to perform product and process inspections daily while collecting and entering data for each.

+ Perform all measurements needed per defined procedures – training will be available on measurement tools.

+ Perform basic characterization and tracking: dimension, resistance, adhesion, placement.

+ Detailed reporting and communication across departments.

+ Continuous monitoring quality of each process output, providing feedback and escalation of non-conformances.

+ Perform process audits with the ability to communicate results to multiple audiences.

+ Able to perform product and process inspections daily while collecting and entering data for each.

+ Must be able to safely lift and maneuver glass of assorted sizes and weights above 50 lbs.

+ Maintain 5S cleanliness inside the quality lab and factory.

+ Recommend process modification for improved stability and control.

+ Provide direct support to engineering and lab staff.

+ Manage time and work output during factory downtime.

+ Work independently and able to be self-sufficient

+ Flexibility to perform other processes in the factory as needed.


+ Proficient at Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, familiar with Trend/Historian/VNC.

+ Excellent attention to detail-specifically as it pertains to reporting, troubleshooting and analytical skills.

+ Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to meet deadlines.

+ Strong familiarity with computer techniques, data collection methods, creating data tables, sorting data and communicating results through email and direct communication.

+ Strong hands-on attitude and ability to spend a significant time on the factory floor standing, bending, reaching.

+ Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

+ Strong problem-solving skills.

+ Outstanding written, oral and presentation communication skills.

+ Excellent people skills, an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.

+ Self-motivated team player.

+ Ability to influence others and work within cross-functional teams to make responsible decisions.

+ Possess a high tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility with respect to job roles and working hours.

+ In depth knowledge and experience with metrology tools and rejection criteria.

+ Forklift or material handling certification is a plus

+ Must have good attendance


+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

+ Minimum 6 months experience at View or > 1yr experience in Quality Assurance.

+ Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelors’ degree or higher in science or engineering related

+ fields of study.
