Department's Website:https://fulbright.uark.edu/deans-office/index.phpSummary of Job Duties:Under the Fiscal Operations Manager's direction, the Payroll and Budget Coordinator is responsible and accountable for College payroll processing and adjustments, and auditing positions for costing allocations accuracy.

 

Payroll processing included costing allocations, payroll accounting adjustments, and budget amendments.

 

The Coordinator will assist the Manager with Summer School, Intersession and Global Campus workloads and revenue distributions.

 

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in sociology, public administration, management or related field

 

At least two years of experience in program administration or a related area

 

Applicable equivalencies may be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

At least three years of experience with Accounting and Financial Reporting at the University of Arkansas

 

Experience with the University Workday system

 

Experience with University payroll processing

 

Advanced Excel knowledge

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

Knowledge of accounting principles and database management

 

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated professionalism

 

Ability to conduct research and prepare reports

 

Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical and business-related documents
