Job Summary

Responsible for greeting visitors and answering and directing incoming telephone calls, and bookkeeping functions. Responsible for performing administrative duties for Human Resources programs and procedures and multi-task as required with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

Job Performance

7:45-1:00 Front Desk Receptionist/Acct Receivable duties, 1pm-4:45pm HR Assist:

  • Answers phone calls, pages employees, greets/supports visitors, and provides appropriate information or takes messages

  • Assists with all benefits administration, and employee questions about benefits.

  • Strong bookkeeping and administrative skills, reconciles some general ledger accounts, organizes tooling billing.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical, and other duties as directed.

  • Updates and maintains customer and vendor information.

  • Able to work with specialized office equipment such as computers, printers.

  • Actively manages social media job postings and online applications.

  • Keeps required AAP data updated including in HR software and spreadsheets.

  • Assists in recruiting and hiring activities and tracking of employees.

  • Must be proficient in spreadsheet, internet, and presentation software skills.

  • Assists in employee recognition and achievement programs, and special events.

  • Duties include; collate and distribute mail, keep bulletin boards updated including law posters.

  • Coordinate Certificates of Insurance with vendors and contractors.

  • Able to cross-train for other positions.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all accounting and HR functions.

  • Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.

  • Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and instructions.

  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Adequate mobility to move about the office and manufacturing plant floor as needed.

  • Must have Adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to occasionally manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs. Occasionally required to stand, Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to Sit.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be worn in designated areas at all times.

  • Adequate mobility to move about the office and manufacturing plant floor as needed.

  • This position is considered a high risk position due to working with Customers, confidentiality/HIPPA, and exposure to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery and forklift traffic.
