National Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Campus Recruiting Specialist

Seeking an energetic recruiting professional who can deliver a high-touch, personalized candidate experience and bring the right high-quality talent in the door at the right time. Looking for a strategic, innovative professional who can lead from the front by being authentic, agile, connected and technologically bold in all areas of recruitment.

The team

The National Diversity, Equity & Inclusion campus recruiting team sits within Talent Acquisition and provide strategic solutions geared towards enhancing and cultivating the inclusive pipeline for our businesses.

Work you’ll do

DEI campus recruiting focuses on the coordination and execution of DEI campus recruiting program initiatives. Recruiter will team with campus recruiters, DEI leaders and other stakeholders to drive recruiting efforts and increase the pipeline and hiring of diverse candidates.

+ Partner and collaborate with Campus recruiters in executing innovative strategies to identify diverse candidates

+ Provide input into diversity strategy, analyze progress/results, and develop strategic recommendations

+ Plan and execute innovative diversity, equity & inclusion campus recruiting programming

+ Build, enhance and maintain relationships with diversity organizations and partnerships to increase brand awareness and identify talent

+ Manage and participate in national diversity, equity & inclusion conferences

+ Understand the competitive landscape and adapt approaches to differentiate the organization in the marketplace


+ Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years related campus recruiting experience

+ Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

+ Ability to build strong relationships and networks with candidates and internal stakeholders

+ Strong executive presence in person and in virtual environments

+ Experience building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to senior leaders in Talent as well as client service

+ Consultative approach toward clients and ability to influence others

+ Proficient in technology platforms and participate in our social media strategy across Deloitte businesses

+ Problem-solving and event-planning skills

+ Proficient skills in various technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems)

+ Travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice

+ Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
