At our North Little Rock, Arkansas facility we manufacture and assemble industry leading products such as motor graders, medium wheel loaders and paving products. These products cannot be produced without inventory and we have a great opportunity for you to join the team as an Inventory Supervisor where you will help to ensure we have the critical materials and components to build these machines. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, in this role you will lead 2 teams. One team focuses on inventory cycle count and the other team focuses on Bill of Materials (BOM), Systems and Engineer Change Processes.
Specifically, in this exciting career opportunity, you can expect to:
+ Lead daily startup meetings with a team of up to 10 Inventory Cycle Counters.
+ Ensure your team practices safe behaviors.
+ Execute cycle count processes to support counts needed for annual compliance, projects, or grief resolution.
+ Drive process adherence with other teams to ensure material inventory accuracy.
+ Ensure you have ample workforce to meet demands.
+ Collaborate with facility logistics planning, manufacturing engineering, supply chain teams, etc. to solve current and long-term safety, velocity, or quality problems.
+ Develop members of your team by providing training opportunities.
You will also manage the Systems Team which includes:
+ Leading a team of up to 10 management employees who schedule engineering changes, document the Bills of Materials and manage the material master process in SAP.
+ Ensuring on time work of monthly engineering changes & New Product Introduction systems work.
+ Assisting in Local Change Coordinator activities as required to support business needs.
+ Implement new ideas to improve the process and drive waste out of the business.
To be successful in this role, you must bring (Basic Qualifications):
+ A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
+ At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing related operation.
+ Experience with SAP software
