Design and develop back office web applications for Williams-Sonoma’s supply chain, call center, and hub locations. Present data to senior stakeholders on a regular basis. Develop and maintain web applications using Microsoft’s .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and Web Services. Develop scripts using C# console applications. Design, document, and communicate effective technical solutions meeting end-user requirements. Produce robust, efficient, and secure .NET code for applications that interact with end users in high availability environments using desktop and mobile platforms. Analyze, test, and apply changes to the application environment under the prevailing change management procedures and requirements. General IT applications development including analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software. Analyze detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the application. Code internally developed applications using programming, scripting, and database languages. Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements. Perform other duties as assigned. On call during project deployments or afterhours troubleshooting when a deployment will cause disruption during business hours. Telecommuting is acceptable.
Education/Experience: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Skills: Experience and/or education must include:
- MS SQL database;
- Visual Studio; and
- User guides/technical writing.
