The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a role in strengthening and modernizing information capabilities. The network engineer will design, plan and build communications networks. Configures routers and switches LAN/WAN systems with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols. Coordinates LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements. Provides innovative methods and technical solutions using the engineering design process. Plans implementation of enhancements.
+ 8 years experience working on classified DOD networks
+ Familiar with handling, segmenting, and managing classified data on DOD networks
+ Experience deploying various of types of enterprise grade software onto DOD systems
+ Experience with Kuberntes, automation of infrastructure
+ Experience with Python and scripting
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ DoD 8750 IAT Level I Certifications (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP)
+ Ability to secure and maintain a Secret security clearance
