The Database Programmer will serves as a technical resource for clinical practice and research within the Department of Radiation Oncology. Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and databases using various relational database, client/server, and object-oriented tools and programming languages. Provides front line support for department hardware and software. Serves as a liaison between the department and Information Sciences to facilitate clinical trials by the development and utilization of research databases. Serves as the primary individual responsible for the integration of information from various disparate systems that will enable the Department of Radiation Oncology leadership to make data-driven decisions for business development, strategic planning, quality assurance and quality improvement.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field is required
+ Two (2) years of experience with database development in any SQL dialect or application development is required.
+ Experience with one of the following is required:
+ Backend API development and database loading in PHP or Python using Laravel, Flask, or Django.
+ Automated code testing and application deployment.
+ GUI development with Java, C#, or C++.
