If you are, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Earthmoving Division as a Communications Representative! In this role you will use your skills and knowledge to play an integral part in creating a positive employee experience at our North Little Rock, AR facility.
Communication plays a key role in creating a positive employee experience. This role will set the overall communication strategy for the facility, ensuring our employees have the information they need when they need it. This role will help drive leader development, coaching our leaders to become better communicators. In addition, this role will help support employee/community engagement activities, new employee/leader on-boarding and our various employee resource groups.

As the Communications Representative, you will get the opportunity to make an impact by:
+ Being a strategic partner to the facility leadership team, advising on communication strategies needed and creating and executing communication plans to support
+ Collaborating with peers as well as divisional and corporate teams to build strong partnerships across the organization to support benchmarking and best practice sharing
+ Interacting with and coaching all levels of leadership on effective communication to support improved approachability with teams
+ Facilitating/coordinating all employee meetings, leader trainings/meetings and various employee engagement events
+ Assisting with on-boarding and off-boarding of employees to ensure a positive employee experience
+ Partnering with various community members to build brand recognition and make Caterpillar an employer of choice in the community
+ Leveraging new technology to improve communication channels across the facility
To be successful in the position you must bring (Basic Qualifications):
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field
• Prior experience in a HR related job role, such as communications, employee engagement, or leader development
Top candidates may also have:
+ Strong relationship building skills with an ability to develop collaborative relationships to achieve a common goal
+ Prior experience in manufacturing/distribution environment
+ Demonstrated examples of championing new ways of doing things
+ Experience with change management and developing effective communication strategies to support
+ Experience with leader development and/or coaching leaders to improve communication
+ Experience creating employee newsletters and videos
+ Exceptional communications skills, time management and attention to detail
+ Strong Microsoft office skills
+ Previous role(s) in which maintaining confidentiality was essential
+ Experience in a Fortune 500 company
