Role Summary/Purpose:

Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Performance Media and Creative Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this organization, our Paid Social Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers. We are seeking a motivated Paid Social Analyst to serve as a hands-on-keyboard paid social strategist, buyer, and analyst, supporting business units across the enterprise. This role will execute and optimize efficient paid social campaigns including work within Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIN, Twitter and Pinterest.

This position is currently remote, where you’ll be work from home, but may be required to work in one of our offices in the future or occasionally commute to one our offices for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Run paid social campaign execution, optimization, reporting across the enterprise

+ Optimize campaign performance based on key KPI’s across various paid social platforms, striving to consistently refine tactics, audiences, and messaging to produce efficient business results

+ Own daily/weekly reporting, developing client insights and analysis to inform our ongoing strategies and meet business needs

+ Assist with campaign planning, providing strategic tactical recommendations based on proven performance informed by current campaigns

+ Monitor brand safety regularly and optimize campaigns to eliminate waste

+ Implement testing plan to get new learnings and improve campaign performance

+ Document test-and-learn initiatives and share internally across the business

+ Collaborate with analytics, media ops, strategy and other internal teams on measurement, tagging, billing and reporting

+ Analyzing the performance of campaigns and identifying strategic opportunities, facilitating change in order to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs

+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned


+ Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 4+ years marketing experience

+ 2+ years of hands-on experience executing Facebook/Instagram campaigns and one other platform (LinkedIN, Twitter or Pinterest) – actively working within platform tools at an agency or brand

+ 1+ years agency experience; including developing and executing plans in a fast-paced environment and consistently meeting deadlines

+ 1+ years experience ensuring social campaign pacing, pulling reporting, monitoring performance, and executing campaign optimizations

Desired Characteristics:

+ Experience working on B2C and B2B campaigns; working in financial, healthcare or retail categories a plus

+ Working knowledge of the technical build of a paid social campaign (bidding structure, tagging, trafficking, audience management etc.)

+ Excellent team building and collaborative skills; flexibility to pivot with strategy, regulatory and market evolution alongside cross channel teams to create holistic advertiser solutions

+ A passion for problem solving and innovation

+ Advanced skills in Excel and PPT are essential as well as strong business writing skills

+ Detail oriented and organized with the ability to juggle competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks

+ Strong aptitude for numerical detail and analytical thinking

Eligibility Requirements:

+ You must be 18 years or older

+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is 52,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
