This position reports to the Manager HR Shared Services and will serve as the primary point of contact for Hiring Process escalations and inquiries for North American hires. The ideal team member in this role will have strong customer support, communication, and process design skills. He/she will be able to seamlessly toggle between the tactical process execution, strategic continuous process design and evolution, and crafting and presenting presentations to stakeholders from various perspectives, organizations, and levels in the organization.
The Main Responsibilities
The HR Shared Services Analyst contributes to the efficient and effective delivery of the HR Delivery Services organization by:
+ Being the primary point of contact for all hiring escalations received from internal and external stakeholders including partners in Talent Acquisition, HR Delivery Services, candidates, hiring managers and executives.
+ Supporting the TA Support and Onboarding team by helping to resolve escalations quickly and partnering with leadership to identify and solve process gaps and inefficiencies.
+ Engaging with cross functional resources such as legal, compliance and IT to get the necessary resolution agreed upon to ensure we are following policy and protocol while providing outstanding services and a seamless experience to our candidates.
+ Partners with Delivery Services leadership to define and enhance the Onboarding processes to continuously improve both the employee and candidate experience.
+ Lead cross training efforts and provide direct guidance to the TA Support and Onboarding coordinators with the aim of maximizing team capability, knowledge and focus on achieving SLA’s and strong customer feedback.
+ Has the ability to identify and drive strategic projects to completion under the purview of direct leadership for the operational improvement of the team.
+ Represent the team in process improvement initiatives such as Value Stream Mapping sessions, LEAN technology, RPA and automation efforts, etc.
+ Building monthly dashboards and presentations for senior and executive leadership to understand process improvements, gaps, and wins.
+ Audit employee referral and sign on bonus pay files for payment for North America Employees
+ Demonstrated administrative and audit experience with pay impacting/financial transaction ownership
What We Look For in a Candidate
+ Detail oriented with 2-4 years experience of in-depth working knowledge of HR, familiar with HR laws and regulations.
+ Prior experience support with Lumen’s Onboarding process highly preferred (including offer letter support and candidate data management).
+ Proven ability to identify process failures and gaps and solution those to reduce go forward process failures.
+ Experience leveraging and designing multiple data sources to understand team performance and key monthly achievements by the team.
+ Demonstrated ability to handle, produce, and maintain confidential information.
+ Ability to remain professional under pressure and excellent conflict resolution skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with experience supporting and partnering with all levels of the organization.
+ Strong organizational skills, time management and creativity, performed in dynamic work environments.
+ Excellent verbal communicator with exceptional written communication skills which can be demonstrated.
+ Professional Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent typically with 2-4 years or 0-1 years with a Master’s Degree.
