Description/Job Summary The position will provide administrative and clerical support to the loan department. This position will assist with the preparation of commercial, consumer, and real estate loan documentation and other various functions of the Loan Operations Department. Responsibilities/Duties * Process loan payments, payoffs and prepare release documents * Data entry and upload loans into the Core system of the Bank * Review data entry of new loans/renewals into the Core System * File UCC’s and UCC continuations with the Secretary of State * Process monthly invoices for the credit life and A&H companies * Assist with error resolution requests regarding customer’s loan account * Assist with balancing of Loan GL’s daily * Review newly prepared loan documentation for compliance with bank policy * Review the loan document request for compliance with regulatory and bank policies before completing the loan documents. * Maintains communication between Loan Officer and Loan Assistant to assist in the timely manner for document preparation for closing of loan files * Answer phones as needed for loan operations department * Build customer loan files * Ensure closing conditions are met per the information provided by the Loan Assistant and documents prepared within the appropriate time frames * Review Closing Disclosure for consumer real estate loans for accuracy and approval * Prepare early disclosures * Cross-train on all other duties of the Loan Operations Department The above list of duties is not inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted or changed as the Loan Operations Department centralizes other loan functions. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license. This positon may require travel to other bank locations and training as required by the Loan Operations Manager. Most training sessions are one day; however, overnight stay may be required. Required Qualifications SKILLS: * Ability to demonstrate compliance with all banking regulations. * Must be able to keep up to date on regulatory changes as well as the banks loan policy and lending procedures * Strong customer service skills * Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, problem solving skills * Ability to complete work in a timely manner and perform in a fast paced, high production environment * Self-motivated with the ability to recognize and prioritize tasks that need to be done * Ability to multi- task * Ability to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS: * Previous loan or banking experience is preferred but not required
