In this role you will work on a variety of projects which will require your best abilities and creativeness. The team you will join works across the entire organization and on ever-changing projects. Your thoughts and ideas will be needed to accomplish our goals. Success is measured through professional, competent and quality completion of projects. We get things done.

You will:

+ Lead and manage moderate to high complexity projects and audits

+ Perform audit work and special projects

+ Participate in and lead subject matter specialist teams

+ Apply audit and accounting skills to new business areas

+ Lead internal controls testing in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

+ Develop clear and concise written recommendations

+ Participate in required training

+ Work with leader to ensure on-going evaluation and continuous improvement

+ Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on accomplishment

Your team will:

Conduct projects needed to make the Company better. We identify and conduct projects we deem will improve the Company. We also work on items requested by the Board Audit Committee, and we work on projects requested by Company Management. These projects range from required compliance procedures to unique opportunities related to changes in the business. The work ranges from small, one day tasks to larger, in-depth, comprehensive, multi month, multi-disciplined challenges.

About you:

+ Five years or more auditing/accounting experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or information technology with some accounting and auditing

+ Basic understanding, aptitude, and ability to use technology

+ Ability to write and communicate clearly and appropriately

+ Ability to quickly understand goals, objectives, and direction and perform related tasks

+ Self-motivated and positive attitude

+ CPA or intent to complete CPA certification or certification by the International Institute of Internal Auditors (Certified Internal Auditor, CIA)

+ Effective and contributing team member and establishes cooperative and positive working relationships

+ Demonstrates proficiency in audit and accounting skills

+ Demonstrates aptitude for project management

Bonus Points:

+ Public accounting experience (preferably Big 4 firm)

+ Experience in an SEC reporting company

+ SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) program experience

+ Information Technology experience

+ Master’s degree or required hours to sit for the CPA exam

+ Hold a CPA certificate or have an intent to sit for the CPA exam once qualified

+ CISA certified or intent to become CISA Certified

+ Progress toward other certification commensurate with duties
