A Day in the Life

The End to End Supply Chain Architecture and Advisory Senior Principal is:

Focusing on END to END Supply Chain Planning and Execution, this role is primarily responsible for building insights and analytics while providing subject matter expertise. The role can support the PLAN, DELIVER TRADE COEs and support OPERATING NETWORKS by providing business expertise, technical knowledge, and analytics creations. The goal of the role is to contribute to the building of GSC INSIGHTS and drive for best in class practices and tools for END to END Supply Chain Planning and Execution.

This role will create user workflows analytics and insights and bring them to life. The role will also need to work hand in hand with the Analytics Development and Sustainability Team to obtain assistance, when required, when building the tools that simplify our customers processes and generate insights that align with our customers goals.

This role needs to provide excellent customer service experience in a way that helps our stakeholders perform at their very best. This role needs to empower our stakeholders to perform at their very best.

The role will move with decisiveness and courage, drive experimentation and calculated risk taking to create solutions that are simple and innovative that are the best possible for our stakeholders.

Furthermore, the role needs to seek out best practices, educate our stakeholders, and be an agent of change within the organization to educate and drive data-based decisions and workflows for our stakeholders to support the Operating Units.


Open to fully remote for the right candidate, but we prefer location near any US based Medtronic facility.**

Responsibilities:

Provide Manufacturing, Supply Inventory Planning and Transportation/Distribution supply chain focus and drive valuable insights.

Ensure Analytics Insights development is happening in unison with an E2E supply chain focus.

Analytics and insights roadmap generation.

Key resource to support and drive analytics from the GSC AI side.

Ensure a high level of customer value and satisfaction.

Drive supply chain end to end analytics and insights that yield positive business outcomes and are regularly used by the stakeholder

Develop and drive use cases all the way through to execution

Drive analytics usage

On time delivery of solutions

Speed of solution deliveries

Generated insights applied by business

-Travel: Up to 25% or once a quarter

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experiencein supply chain analytics

Nice to Have

-SQL or Oracle Developer experience is a plus

-CPIM or CSCP

-Visualization experience such as PowerBI or Tableau

-Project Management skills are a plus

-Experience in a regulated environment like Medical Device, etc.
