Join Medtronics Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) Operations team as the Field Inventory Network Optimization Analyst providing leadership, insight, and structure in the design and application of the Spine Global Ecosystem.
ADay in the Life
As the Field Inventory Network Optimization Analyst, you will collaborate with the broader Network Optimization Team, Sales Operations, Sales regions, and other internal stakeholders to understand and gather the data required to represent and model the CST Spine Field Inventory supply chain.
+ Play a key role in the design, implementation, and evolution of the new Regional Allocation framework for CST Spine Field Inventory
+ Drive opportunity identification and support opportunities through the Regional Network Enablement process
+ Support supply chain design projects including scoping and data collection
+ Leverage LLamasoft/Coupa software to design, build, and maintain insights dashboards and interactive modeling applications
+ Assist in the design and maintenance of supply chain network simulation tools
+ Fully document key decisions, data sources, transformations, and identified opportunities
+ Support project quality by identifying risks that impact project scope, timing, or cost
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelors degree required
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
Nice to Have
+ Awareness and knowledge of the principles of optimization with the ability to use software packages to optimize and analyze outputs
+ Experience modeling the end-to-end supply chain network including manufacturing, sterilization, distribution, transportation, and inventory aspects
+ Experience with supply chain / network modeling and reporting tools such as Supply Chain Guru and R
+ Experience in working and analyzing SAP supply chain data
+ Ability to lead regional projects through influence
+ Experience working with data and database software
+ Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
+ Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing
+ Ability to learn quickly and apply complex technical skills
+ Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word)
+ LLamasoft experience
