+ Succeed as a TeamPOSITION SUMMARY The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Supervisor with the receiving operations to include: Oracle transactions, inventory control, schedule coordination and offload requirements. This position also has a high degree of interaction with various transportation companies daily.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESAccepts and signs for deliveries from vendors as well as Fed Ex/UPS Etc….
+ Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
+ Uses dollies, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from receiving dock.
+ Unloads Glass trucks using overhead crane which requires certification
+ Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments against packing slips.
+ Preforms physical inspections noting any damage or discrepancies on the bill of lading.
+ Contacts Supply chain team if a mistake is identified while matching items being received against packing slips and works with purchasing/internal customer to resolve.
+ Receives purchase orders in Oracle with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Scans incoming packing slips into data base and files receiving/inventory transaction paperwork.
+ Maintains accurate records and assist in inventory control.
+ Stores, restocks, labels, scans and shelves delivery items as necessary.
+ Assists with domestic internal shipments using Fed Ex.
+ Ensures that receiving area is clean and organized.
+ Works with Supply Chain Supervisor to coordinate schedules for inbound raw material shipments.
+ Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supply Chain Supervisor.
