The Process Control Engineer is a 6-9 month contract position working for our client in the Pulp and Paper industry located in the Pine Bluff, AR. area.
Process Control Engineer Job Description:
Position is responsible for developing a scope and project timeline, assisting in the bid process, and managing contractors for predominately electrical projects. Also lead projects supporting one paper machine, power and recovery, and fiber process which includes secondary fiber. Perform as a team member of various project teams where capital improvements have been identified against specific business issues. Also serve as a coordinator or clearing house of ideas for improvement techniques and implementation strategies. Employee will provide consultation and expert advice to management.
Process Control Engineer Job Function:
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•Manage electrical projects from initial assignment to final close-out
•Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine optimum solution
•Coordinate manufacturing or building of machine improvements and/or plant systems.
•Also work with maintenance to troubleshoot electrical/automation problems.
•Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
•Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
•Research, design, evaluate and install electrical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
•Investigates and resolves matters of significance on behalf of management.
