Seeking a highly motivated, organized, and responsible individual to assist with building a new research lab focused on cancer genetics and epigenetics. The ideal candidate will grow with the new lab and work collegially with established labs. The successful candidate will be able to plan, execute, and report complex experiments with appropriate supervision/guidance.
+ Designs and conducts laboratory research experiments.
+ Will be responsible for leading brain and in utero surgical procedures in mice.
+ Work with mice, maintaining colony, health checks/records, assist with animal surgical procedures
+ Collects, compiles and analyses data; maintains records.
+ Conducts literature searches and summarizes information as needed.
+ Selects and determines appropriate research procedures
+ May assign/train activities to less experienced research staff
+ Documents, interprets, and presents results of experiments and reports to principal investigators.
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific area is required
+ No eperience required
