The Deloitte US Talent organization is looking for a Talent Experience leader. This high impact role will lead efforts to define the uniquely appealing and compelling characteristics of working with the US Firm for all types of talent, to measure our success delivering on this ambition, to inform a wide range of choices that will evolve and improve the talent experience, and to brand and market the experience internally and externally for maximum impact.

As the US Firm aggressively pursues its business and workforce strategies and prepares to emerge from the pandemic environment, there is an opportunity to design and deliver a talent experience strategy Success will allow us to attract, engage and retain the talent we need and have that talent become influential promoters of Deloitte to all stakeholders.

Against this backdrop, we are looking for a Talent Experience leader that deeply appreciates the Deloitte brand, our values, the breadth of markets and talent for which we compete. This leader needs to embrace ambiguity as they build a strategy and the capabilities of the organization, including the standup of the talent experience team within the Talent organization. The leader should have experience with talent management and human-centered design.

Work you’ll do

+ Develop a talent experience strategy: leverage human-centered design to sense current perceptions of the Deloitte experience, identify talent preferences, define the unique and compelling characteristics Deloitte will deliver

+ Create a talent experience architecture: variations based on the needs of business areas and expectations of talent cohorts, while remaining consistent with the talent brand

+ Define the success metrics of the program and the impact on workforce experience (e.g.: internally and externally)

+ Assess talent experience value propositions offered by other employers in comparison to our own

+ Collaborate with DTTL, Marketing Excellence and Talent to define the Talent brand and market it to target cohorts inside and outside Deloitte

+ Make decisions about the external awards and recognitions we will pursue and how to best position Deloitte

+ Build a talent experience team and develop collaborations across the talent channel, marketing excellence and the business areas

+ Engage executive stakeholders to navigate the impact of the change

+ Leverage internal and external research to continually refine strategy

+ Oversee Employee Experience governance process, align and manage key partnerships, and drive accountability

+ Lead co-creation of workshops designed to build the change-related capabilities


+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

+ Minimum 10 years of related experience (i.e., customer experience, talent management, change management or related areas)

+ Experience working with talent management and applied human-centered design techniques

+ Travel up to 15% (while travel of up to 15% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


+ Demonstrated success in starting and developing programs with significant scale and impact, allocating and managing resources in service of priorities

+ Success managing direct reports and key collaborations
