This position will be responsible for managing a mission-critical Supply Chain system. Experienced, detailed oriented individual that will actively work with the GDIT business community to solve business problems with systematic and process solutions that fit within system architecture standards.


+ Provides management and application architecture oversight of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, Procurement, Order and Product Management applications.

+ Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional support teams, analyzing requirements, user stories and related artifacts to determine technical specifications for application configuration.

+ Ensures alignment on the end-to-end business processes and technical solutions.

+ Manages a small team of systems analysts, application administrators and developers to support upgrades, maintenance, enhancements, and integrations with other systems.

+ Manages quarterly release impact assessments and release management planning.

+ Prioritizes and assigns work to meet deadlines managing delays, escalations, and expectations with stakeholders.

+ Provides technical guidance and cross trains team members.

+ Provides hands on configuration and development support when needed.

+ Assists with troubleshooting complex issues and escalating issues with the vendor.

+ Serves as the IT process owner responsible for executing system access, change management, operational and system development controls; supports all IT and business audit needs.

+ Reviews training materials for use and administration of the system.

+ Provides day to day operations oversight, status reports and escalates issues as needed.

+ Stays up to date on leading industry trends and Oracle features and solutions.

+ Directs various personnel functions including performance reviews, goal setting, merit recommendations, training plans, promotions, transfers and hiring.

+ Manages support coverage and vacation schedules.

+ Provides input into technical roadmaps and planning.

Required Education / Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline: OR the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and related work experience.

+ 10-12 years of related information systems experience

+ Management experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

+ Experience managing Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, Procurement, Product/Order Management and Enterprise Resource Planning applications and quarterly release schedules.

+ Advanced knowledge and awareness of current Oracle Cloud information technology solutions.

+ Leadership and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organization and time management skills.

+ Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

+ Excellent collaboration skills, both written and verbal.

+ Ability to manage multiple activities across a distributed and cross functional team environment.

+ Ability to adapt to changes in requirements and new projects.

+ Must be able to work well with employees at all levels of the company.

+ Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours. Demands during peak times may require work hours outside of normal working hours.

+ Telecommute position, occasional travel may be required.
